Tile and grout, natural stone, terrazzo and concrete can all make for appealing exteriors and outdoor spaces at home, in the workplace, or as a property amenity. But let’s face it – when the sun gets too strong, that beautiful breeze too windy, or it starts raining cats and dogs – you can get in out of the weather, but your exterior spaces cannot.
Fallen leaves, muddy run-off from lots of rain, mold and mildew, and lots of other things that happen outdoors – who wants to look at or run around barefoot on that? LaCasse Stone And Tile Care can return your outdoor surfaces to pristine condition, then seal them as appropriate to the surface type to help minimize excessive moisture absorption and buy some time for you to clean up spills before they turn into stains.
Media blasting is a process that prepares outdoor surfaces for other services such as staining, painting, sealing, restoring or refinishing. A blasting material is directed, with force, (up to 375cfm) at the surface to wear away what needs to be removed. Depending on the surface that needs to be blasted and the material that needs to removed, i.e. rust, limescale, grease, paint, etc., there are many different types of blasting material that can be used. Corn cobs, baking soda or walnut shells may be used on softer materials that need cleaning while crushed glass, aluminum oxide, or steel shot may be used on harder material.
